Conduit Locate Concrete Scan - Chicago, IL

A local Chicago manufacturer needed cut a concrete slab in one of their warehouses. Although they knew that conduits were present within the slab, they were not sure of their exact location or the depth. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was able to scan the concrete and subsequently map out the conduits and their depths (marked in red as shown in the below). The client was then able to determine where it was safe to saw cut.

Thanks to GPRS, the contractor of this project was able to keep the project on schedule and keep costs down by avoiding costly mistakes.
