GPRS Locates Conduits at Youngstown State University Prior to Saw Cutting - Youngstown, OH

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was requested on site by a general contractor to perform a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scan at Youngstown State University. The purpose was to locate any conduits or pipes prior to saw cutting and trenching inside the cafeteria. A sanitary line needed to be replaced and the general contractor needed to know if anything was around the area of excavation. All conduits & pipes were marked out in area of concern and the general contractor was able to safely saw cut and dig without hitting any conduits or pipes. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems is the best way to ensure the locations of conduits/pipes prior to saw cutting/trenching through concrete. The picture below show all of the conduits and pipes located in the area of concern.
