Before core drilling into an elevated concrete slab for a new bar at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, NY the contractor wanted to identify all electrical conduits, rebar and other obstructions. The contractor wanted to avoid all of these obstacles, in order to conduct safe drilling and to have a clean passage, when drilling through the concrete slab. GPRS was clearly able to identify all rebar, beams, and conduits within the concrete slab efficiently and accurately using ground penetrating radar, which is a safe and effective method for locating reinforcement and conduits in concrete.
