GPRS Used to Help Core Drillers Miss Reinforcing - Providence, RI

After learning that GPRS of Rhode Island has been in business since 2001, and that each of our technicians has experience with performing over 350 scans per year, a general contractor that was working at a parking garage project at the Providence Place Mall in Providence, RI decided to call GPRS.

The scope of this project was to core drill through the parking garage wall in multiple locations so that anchor brackets could be installed for a flag holder. After arriving at the job site, GPRS scanned the parking garage in 8 locations, and on two different floors. As the scan was completed, the locations and depths of the reinforcing were clearly marked onto the concrete surface so that the saw cutter could avoid any accidents.

Thanks to the quick turnaround of GPRS, the general contractor was able to proceed with their project right after the scan was completed. The general contractor was enamored with the quality of work that was performed, and the timely, efficient manner in which it was done. GPRS was not only able to keep this project safe, but the saw cutter was able to avoid in damaging their saw blades as well. GPRS uses real time applications and we are experienced enough to be able to locate all of the reinforcing, and give the client the safest and most ideal locations on each wall to core drill through.
