Concrete Slab Scanned for Conduits at Retail Store - Milwaukee, MN

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. – GPRS – of Wisconsin was contacted by general contractor to scan areas for new plumbing at a Target Store in the Greater Milwaukee area. GPRS was asked to scan areas for potential conduits in the active store. The contractor feared hitting electrical going to cooler units for the fresh produce as well as 480v lines in the back of the store. GPRS located multiple conduits, which would have caused thousands of dollars to repair. Saw cut areas where conduits were located GPRS provided depths of the conduits as to allow for the cutter to know how deep to drop the saw blade. GPRS was able to clear the trenches and identify the critical targets and this led to the project staying on budget, time, and safe.
