Rebar Locating at Hospital - Cleveland, Ohio

Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was requested on site by a general contractor to perform a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scan at a hospital in Cleveland. The purpose was to locate all rebar to determine the locations of anchors into the concrete for special equipment. All findings were marked out in the areas of concern and the general contractor was able to safely drill anchors and avoid rebar. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems is the best way to ensure the locations of reinforcement and conduits prior to saw cutting/drilling through concrete. The pictures below show the rebar taped out on the surface.
