GPRS Locates Rebar - Youngstown, OhioGPRS Locates Rebar in Wall Prior to Core Drilling - Youngstown, Ohio

Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was requested on site by a general contractor to perform a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scan in Youngstown, Ohio. The purpose was to locate any rebar prior to core drilling. The building was new and no reinforcement could be hit for structural reasons. All rebar were marked out in area of concern and the general contractor was able to safely drill holes without hitting any reinforcement. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems is the best way to ensure the locations of reinforcement and conduits prior to saw cutting/drilling through concrete. The picture to the right shows all of the rebar marked on site prior to core drilling.
