GPRS Locates Conduits & Sanitary lines at the Cleveland Clinic

Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was requested on site by a general contractor to perform a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scan at the Cleveland Clinic. The purpose was to locate any conduits prior to saw cutting the concrete slab. Sanitary lines were also located for plumbing. All findings were marked out in the areas of concern and the general contractor was able to safely saw cut to avoid live electrical conduits. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems is the best way to ensure the locations of reinforcement and conduits prior to saw cutting/drilling through concrete. The pictures below show abandoned conduit in black, sanitary in white, and live conduits in red.
