GPRS Detects Unknown Foundations During Routine Utility Clearance!

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. – GPRS – of Wisconsin was contacted by an environmental engineering company to clear 30 soil boring locations with ground penetrating radar and radio detection equipment. GPRS was able to clear all of the boring locations without a utility strike. The GPR equipment was even able to identify the location of foundations from a building that was demolished years ago! This information would not have been obtained without ground penetrating radar. Ground penetrating radar is a great tool to scan areas for utilities, UST’s voids, and other unknowns on your site. GPR is also great for mapping post tension cables, rebar, and conduits, including PVC pipes. GPRS’s arsenal of tools can be tuned for your specific project. This now includes sewer camera inspection in Wisconsin! Call for details!
