GPRS Scans Pan Decks for Conduit - Loudoun County, VirginiaGPRS Scans Pan Decks for Conduit - Loudoun County, Virginia

A contractor renovating offices in Loudon County Virginia contacted GPRS of Northern Virginia/Washington to map out conduits and reinforcing in a Pan Deck slab. GPRS scanning aids contractors in reducing the likelihood of subsurface obstruction strikes during drilling, cutting, trenching, anchoring and other construction processes. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems using GSSI Sir-3000 technology, located the top and bottom of pans as well as the reinforcing and conduit in the slab to give contractors valuable information on where to core drill. This was all done in a safe, time efficient, non-destructive way. The radar emits radiation less than 1% of that found to be emitted by standard cell phones. This means practically no hazardous radiation to operators or persons above or below the work zone.

GPRS provides rapid response times and convenient scheduling for your projects.
