Parking Lot Scanned Prior To Core Drilling - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) was contacted by a contractor in Downtown Albuquerque to locate the reinforcement within a parking garage structure. The contractor needed to conduct numerous core drills within the parking garage and wanted to avoid hitting any beams or reinforcement.

This contractor contacted GPRS of New Mexico and Jude Tenorio was mobilized to complete the scan of this location. Using the 1600MHz GPR and GSSI Sir-3000 equipment we were able to successfully map out the reinforcement within the desired area. The contractor was very pleased with our results and was able to move forward with his work knowing that he and his workers were not at risk of damaging any of the existing reinforcement.

Private Utility Locate in SE New Mexico

Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was contacted by an environmental company in South Eastern New Mexico to locate underground utilities and clear an area where a monitoring well was to be installed. It is very important to know where underground utilities are located prior to digging, trenching, or excavating to ensure no damage to the utilities or danger to the workers conducting the dig and GPR is a great tool to use to locate utilities. Jude Tenorio was mobilized to the area and located and marked the utilities in the required area. This resulted in a successful and safe dig with no hits.
