Ground Penetrating Radar Used to Locate Post Tension Cable - Phoenix, Arizona

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. - GPRS - of Arizona was contacted by a general contractor to locate all post tension cables within the concrete slab for an extensive tenant improvement renovation project in Phoenix, AZ.

The general contractor was responsible for expanding certain rooms and installing new sewer drain lines. Knowing that the floor contained post tension cable reinforcements, it was necessary to call upon Ground Penetrating Radar Systems to safely locate all post tension cables so that they would know where they could safely cut into the slab without causing costly or dangerous damage from cutting post tension cables or conduit.
