GPR Scan to Locate Private Utility Lines - Naples, Florida

In May of 2016, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) was contacted by a contractor in order to locate utilities throughout a complex in Naples, FL. The company plans to remodel a clubhouse in the complex. The company contacted GPRS of Tampa, FL in order to know where any utilities were located in the areas they would be building in. This was necessary due to the fact that they had no idea of where any of the existing utilities were located and couldn’t start their plans until they know what they would be encountering.

Justin Rasanow of GPRS were contacted in order to perform the survey at this location. Using our 400MHz antenna radar equipment and RD-7000, we were able to map the existing utilities on the surface. The customer also requested a CAD map of our findings. The contractor was pleased with our results and felt relieved that they were able to begin planning the remodel and addition to the existing clubhouse.
