In the early two-thousands, GPR was in its infancy, as was the concept of safe, effective, and accurate non-destructive testing for construction. GPRS marked out concrete slabs and subsurface utility locations so customers could avoid hitting expensive & dangerous PT cables, rebar, conduit and underground utilities.

As the applications for GPR technology evolved, so did the way GPRS delivered accurate concrete imaging and utility locating information. We added paper drawings, often done by hand with graph paper, as part of our Job Services Reports, so our customers could keep track of their accurate subsurface and concrete as-builts.

To meet the emerging digital needs of our AEC customers, GPRS evolved again to provide the first electronic utility maps in the industry. We began to email our Job Summary Reports, containing live links to complimentary .PDF and .KMZ files, and other applicable maps, models, and drawings that GPRS’ Mapping & Modeling Team created to meet our customers’ needs.
