Schedule Service Today

TOLEDO, OH - Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Systems, LLC (GPRS) acquired Master Locators on August 2019. Master Locators is a leading provider of private utility locating, concrete scanning, vacuum excavation, subsurface utility engineering, and video pipe inspection services. Master Locators is the fourth private utility locating company to be acquired by GPRS.

Master Locators uses ground penetrating radar (GPR) and similar tools to help utility companies, engineering firms, contractors, and other clients to locate and record subsurface elements. Based out of Glen Mills, PA, Master Locators has served the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions since 2003.

The addition of Master Locators will enhance GPRS’s existing reach throughout the Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware markets. Master Locators will work under GPRS to serve client needs in the fields of private utility locating, concrete scanning, and video pipe inspection. A new company called Level A Underground Solutions has been created to continue providing air and hydro vacuum excavation- a necessary current aspect of the Master Locators’ business which was not in alignment with the GPRS scope of services. GPRS will partner with Level A in order to provide comprehensive GPR locating and vacuum excavation services to new and existing customers.

GPRS’s acquisition of Master Locators will add 93 experienced team members, along with an additional 21 team members working under Level A. Both Master Locators and GPRS pride themselves on integrity and commitment to their customers. The merging of Master Locators as a part of the GPRS group will help GPRS to continue providing the highest level of commitment and quality to all clients.
